A lot has changed since the Firm was founded in the mid-1930s. Design tools have changed. Construction methods have changed. Communication is instant and fast-paced. Advancements in technology, construction materials, and building systems happen daily. And though we no longer design solely with pen and paper, sometimes those tools are still valuable in getting an idea across. We've adopted Building Information Modeling (BIM), virtual modeling, and we still use CAD too. They're all tools we use to develop an idea and convey design intent. No matter the medium, we're committed to bringing great ideas and next generation delivery services to all our clients.
Our dedicated professionals work in a collaborative environment. Each individual brings knowledge, skill and imagination to the project - from sketches that conceptualize, BIM modeling to tests ideas and Contract Documents that accurately convey design intent. Each aspect of our services ensures that our clients are provided with thoughtfully designed and well-built projects.
Regardless of the methods and tools we use to provide our services, our mission is the same today as it was when we started. Our mission is to be a trusted adviser; to bring practical, cost-conscious design to our clients and in doing so, never lose sight of our commitment to client service and bringing the best ideas to the table.

SUSTAINABILITY / LEED
Healy | Bender prides itself as a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the non-profit organization responsible for developing and maintaining LEED standards. We have on-staff LEED accredited design professionals experienced in the requirements for LEED project certification. Our professionals share the desire to design and create projects that not only reduce the initial impact on the environment, but also to reduce long-term energy use and improve occupant well-being.
TECHNOLOGY MAKE US GREENER TOO!
Since 2010, our transition to electronic construction submittals via the web has saved over 30 trees. It's also saved owners and contractors over $100,000 by eliminating more than 14,000 shipping days waiting for mailed documents to arrive.
